Egypt arrested terrorist Abu Nidal two months ago after he refused to cooperate with authorities in providing information about the planned activities of other terrorists, according to an Egyptian intelligence official. Egypt, which is believed to fear terrorist reprisals, responded to reports of the arrest by repeating its denials that it is holding the man linked to attacks in 20 countries.
