Egypt claimed it cracked an Israeli spy ring. Egyptian state prosecutors announced over the weekend that they had arrested a local man, who also has Canadian citizenship, on charges of spying for Israel in Canada and Turkey. The prosecutors also named the suspect’s alleged Israeli handlers, saying they were abroad and would be tried in absentia. Israeli officials said they had no immediate knowledge of the charges.
