Egypt is proposing a summit meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat in Cairo or Amman, Jordan, Israeli media reported. There was no immediate reaction from Israel, which is apparently waiting for Arafat’s response.
