Egypt is severing agricultural links with Israel, an Egyptian official announced. The announcement came on the 25th anniversary of Anwar Sadat’s historic visit to Jerusalem. One Israeli official expressed surprise at the report, saying most of the agricultural ties were cut earlier this year, according to the Jerusalem Post. “We are very sorry about this,” he said, “but it is nothing new.”
