Egypt will consult with the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin el Hussein, and other leaders of the Palestine Arabs in any matters pertaining to the Palestine Arabs “rights” and on peace negotiation, Egypt’s Premier Col. Gamal Abdel Nasser told the heads of Saudi Arabia and Syria at a meeting in Cairo last month.
This was revealed today by the press here which reprinted details of a speech by Coo. Nasser at a secret session with the Syrian and Saudi Arabian leaders. Col. Nasser is reported to have pledged too that he would not proceed with any peace negotiations outside the Arab League.
