Egypt has already received 15 Soviet MIG jet planes under the Czech-Egyptian arms deal, the London Daily Express reported today. It said that planes, together with tanks, were delivered secretly yesterday. Armaments from Czechoslovakia have thus far been delivered to Egypt in one Egyptian, one Soviet and three Rumanian vessels, the paper reported from Cairo. With the armaments, it said, came six Russians and eight Czechs who will show the Egyptians how to use and maintain the equipment.
