Egyptian coastal batteries near Gaza fired on an Israeli patrol vessel off the coast and forced it to withdraw, it was reported here today in, dispatches from Cairo. There port stated that the Egyptian batteries opened fire when the Israeli vessel allegedly entered Egyptian waters.
