Repairs of the damages suffered by synagogues in Oziro and Alexandria during the anti-Jewish riots in Egypt a fortnight ago will be paid for by the Government, it was announced here today. A committee has been set up in the linistry of Public Works to estimate the extent of the damage, and it is expected that reconstruction of the synagogues will begin shortly.
