Continued attacks by Egyptian Bedouin in the Gaza area to Israeli Bedouin and the stealing of cattle from the Israeli Arab citizens was reported today by a military spokesman here. The latest incident, he said, occurred yesterday when Egyptians attacked Israeli Bedouin in the demilitarized zone at Auja el Hafir and stole some of their camels. There were no casualties.
The Egyptian authorities in the Gaza strip today reneged on a pledge to return to Israel a flock of 210 sheep stolen by Arab marauders some weeks ago. After the Intercession of United Nations truce observers. the Egyptians promised to return the stolen sheep. However, when Israeli authorities arrived at the spot where the transfer was to be made they were informed by an Egyptian officer that his instructions had been changed and he would not return the sheep.
