An Egyptian nurse sentenced to three month’s imprisonment for providing medical aid to an Arab terrorist in Gaza without informing Israeli authorities was freed today after she expressed regret for her offense. The nurse, Fatma Najuli, was employed by UNRWA, the United Nations Works and Relief Agency for Palestinian Arab refugees. She had appealed her sentence to the commander of Israeli armed forces in Gaza who waived the remainder of her prison term. Miss Najuli returned to her UNRWA post.
