About 30 Egyptian army officers are now undergoing training in Communist East Germany, it was learned here today.
In addition, according to reports from East Germany, the Communist regime there has promised to provide Egypt with military supplies valued at 180,000,000 marks (about $18,000,000). Deliveries will include mainly machine guns from the East German army as well as 700 new trucks to be sent to Egypt this year.
