EGYPTIAN TROOPS OPEN FIRE ON ISRAELIS IN GAZA BORDER AREA
Egyptian troops today opened fire on an Israeli patrol in the Gaza strip border area, a military spokesman said tonight. He reported that there had been no casualties.
At the same time, it was reported that a gang of Jordanians had kidnapped an Israeli shepherd and had stolen his flock. The incident took place in central Palestine. Israel complained to the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission.
