A condensed version of the “History of Zionism,” by the veteran British Zionist Israel Cohen, has been published in Egypt with a foreword by Egyptian Premier Gamal Abdel Nasser.
According to a report received here, Col. Nasser says that the reason for publishing this history of Zionism is to enable Egyptians to understand Zionism from the viewpoint of a Zionist. Col. Nasser also says that the significance of Zionist history is that the Jews were able to create a nationalist movement out of a religion.
