Egypt’s president said his security forces thwarted a terrorist attack planned against Israeli tourists. “Two days ago, we captured a terrorist cell in the Sinai, with weapons and ammunition, that planned to attack Israelis,” Hosni Mubarak told Yediot Achronot in an interview published Tuesday. “We have no interest in Israelis getting hurt, and we are doing the maximum to prevent terrorist actions.”
