Ehud Olmert’s purchase of an apartment in Jerusalem is under state scrutiny. The State Comptroller’s Office said Thursday that it was investigating allegations that the prime minister and his wife, Aliza, enjoyed unseemly discounts in buying the apartment. But there was no confirmation of a Ha’aretz report that the first couple would be called in for questioning.
