Eight authors merited multiple selections on a list of the top 100 works of modern Jewish literature. The Yiddish writers S.Y. Abramovitch, S. An-ski, Sholem Aleichem and Isaac Bashevis Singer are among the eight on the list, which was selected by a group of scholars under the auspices of the National Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, Mass.
