Professor Albert Einstein has accepted the honorary chairmanship of the committee sponsoring the nation-wide observance of the eight hundredth anniversary of the birth of Rabbi Moses Maimonides. This announcement was made yesterday by Henry S. Hendricks, chairman of the committee, following a meeting of its Administrative group.
It was also announced that April 14 had been decided upon for the date of the New York celebration and that Dr. Emanuel Libman has accepted the post of treasurer of the committee.
