Professor Albert Einstein was guest of honor last night at the “third chalutzim seder” of the National Labor Committee for Palestine, which was attended by more than 900 persons in the grand ballroom of the Central Plaza, Second avenue near Seventh street.
At the seder a cablegram was sent to the General Federation of Jewish Labor in Palestine, transmitting $15,000 for the Arlosoroff memorial fund, “as a token of our solidarity and as a result of this celebration.”

Speakers at the gathering were Professor Einstein, Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Isaac Hamlin, secretary of the National Labor Committee for Palestine; H. Ehrenreich; Haym Greenberg; Joseph Sprinzak, Zionist labor leader; Herman Bernstein, editor of The Jewish Daily Bulletin; Morris Feinstone, secretary of the United Hebrew Trades; Harry Lang, of the Jewish Daily Forward; Dr. S. Margoshes, editor of The Day; Joseph Schlossberg, secretary-treasurer of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers’ Union, and Dr. Nathan Ratnoff, director of the Beth Israel Hospital.
Two poems written by Professor Einstein were read by Mark Schweid, and a Haggadah written especially for the occasion by David Pinsky and H. Gutman was presented by Mr. Schweid, B. Z. Baratov. Abraham Teitelbaum, Menachem Rubin, Jacob Silbert, and Joseph Bergrin. A musical program was offered by Victor Chenkin, Miriam Elias and Maurice Schwartz.
