The Jewish Forum last night presented three gold medals in the name of Dr. Albert Einstein to Mrs. Estelle M. Sternberger, executive director of World Peaceways; Franz Werfel, author, and James G. McDonald, former High Commissioner for German Refugees for distinguished services, respectively, in the fields of peace, literature and philanthropy.
Presentation was made at a dinner at which Dr. Einstein urged the Jews of Germany to remain united in the face of persecution. The models will be presented annually by the Einstein Award Foundation, created by the periodical for that purpose.
