President Eisenhower yesterday discussed Arab-Israel problems in general with Achmed Abboud, a prominent Egyptian industrialist and financier, who was a guest at the White House. A detailed discussion was held about aspects of Egypt’s economic problems.
Presidential Press Secretary James Hagerty announced that Monnet B. Davis would continue to be Ambassador to Israel. Mr. Davis was among a group of ambassadors approved by the Eisenhower Administration to continue in their present assignments.
