El Al Israel Airlines had an income of $38,000,000, with a net profit of more than $333,000 during the fiscal year that ended last March 31, according to the airline’s annual report issued here today.
The figures showed that El Al carried 171,000 passengers during the 12-month period, recording a passenger increase of 50 per cent by comparison with the 1960-61 fiscal year. The amount of freight and mail carried during the period by the line had increased 52 per cent in a year.
