SEVEN ARMED ARABS ATTACKED AN INN IN THE KASLAH VILLAGE, WOUNDING THE INNKEEPER. ONE ARAB WAS SLIGHTLY INJURED WHEN A MOTORCADE OF SIX CARS, IN WHICH ARABS WERE INCLUDED, WAS FIRED UPON NEAR SHEIKABREK, A VINEYARD WAS UPROOTED AT HEBRON.
A BUS WAS FIRED ON NEAR THE VILLAGE OF ATLIT. GUARDS RETURNED THE FIRE. THERE WERE NO CASUALTIES. TWO POLICE CARS LOADED WITH CONFISCATED ARMS, INCLUDING A MACHINE GUN, LEFT FOR JAFFA TO DUMP THEIR LOADS INTO THE SEA.
THE COURT OF APPEALS CONFIRMED SENTENCE OF DEATH FOR TWO ARABS CONVICTED OF MURDERING MENDEL MINTZ, JEWISH TRUCK DRIVER, LAST FEBRUARY. SENTENCES WERE PASSED LAST WEEK BY THE CRIMINAL ASSIZES COURT.
