Eleven armed Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli troops in the West Bank. Six Islamic Jihad members were killed early last Friday in a clash that ensued after the gunmen fired on Israeli troops who had surrounded their hideout in the Jenin refugee camp. In the nearby village of Tamun, five Hamas members were killed in exchanges of fire with Israeli troops March 13.
