Eleven officers and men of the Israel border police went on trial here today before a military court on charges of slaying 47 Arab villagers on October 29 in enforcement of a curfew order on the eve of the Sinai operation. Principal defendants are Major S. Malinski, who was accused of giving illegal orders which led to the slaying and Lieutenant G. Dehan, who killed three villagers himself while his men killed 44 in Kfar Kassem. The prosecutor called their actions “deliberate murder” and insisted that they must bear responsibility for the action.
