Proposing such a program, Eyal contended that the Jewish youngsters could be employed in maintenance, driving or waiting on tables Just as well as itinerant workers brought in from South Korea or other countries. If Jewish youths were given the jobs they would benefit from a trip to Israel and the increased identification with it that such a trip-would-provide.
