Elias Gilner, author, playwright and past national commander of the veterans of the Jewish Legion, announced today that he is writing a comprehensive history of the Jewish Legion in World War I, including the Zion Mule Corps, Mr. Gilner, who lives in the Bronx, is collecting material on the formative and active periods of the Legion — the years 1915 through 1920 in the U.S.A., Canada, England, Palestine and Argentina, Brochures, articles, leaflets, clippings, photographs, cartoons, letters and songs of a historic nature in English, Yiddish and Hebrew are of interest to
