An emergency fund of $500,000 to finance its expanded program of public affairs to impart to the public an understanding of the problems relating to the present crisis in the Middle East, was unanimously voted by the national executive committee of the Zionist Organization of America, the ruling body of the organization between annual conventions. Close to 200 members of the ZOA governing body from all parts of the country, who attended the session, pledged to meet the full goal set for the emergency fund.
