In a nine-column article in today’s “Emes,” the organ of the Moscow Jewish Communists, the paper explains how to conduct the anti-Passover campaign and calls upon the Jews to voluntarily submit during Passover week their religious articles for the industrialization fund and also to collectively resign from the kehillahs where they still exist.

It is learned that the “Emes” will this year concentrate not against the eating of matzoths, because there won’t be any matzoths, but on getting more brass, silver and gold religious articles during the Passover week. Instructions to this effect have been sent by the “Emes” to all its provincial correspondents.

A new matzoth tariff of ten roubles per kilo has been announced. This together with the additional duty will make the price of matzoths about three dollars per pound.
