Berliner was awarded the medal of the Franklin Institute for his work in the perfection of the microphone, at the annual medal day exercises of the Institute here yesterday. Sir Esme Howard, British Ambassador. received a second medal on behalf of Dr. Charles T. R. Wilson of Cambridge who with Mr. Berliner, was honored with the Franklin medal.
