Emil Lengyel, author and journalist, who resides in Astoria, was honored at a reception last night, held in connection with the publication of his newest book “The New Deal in Europe,” at the Astoria Center of Israel, Crescent street near Grand avenue.
Following a musical program, Rabbi Joshua L. Goldberg reviewed “The New Deal in Europe.” Mr. Lengyel spoke briefly.
