Emma Wolf, widely known California Jewish authoress died here today at the age of sixty-seven.
Although an invalid for the past fifteen years, Miss Wolf did not relinquish her literary labors.
She was a native of this city having been born here on June 15, 1865. She was the author of “Other Things Being Equal” and other books.
Samuel Freedman, president of The Sons of Israel Synagogue of Albany, announced that the congregation had unanimously extended a call to Rabbi Abraham Simon to its pulpit and that he had accepted.
Rabbi Simon, an honor graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary of this year’s class, will begin his term of office next week. He is the first graduate of the Seminary to be elected to a post in the capital city of the Empire State.
