Employes of the Kuwaiti National Petroleum Company have been told to contribute a month’s wages to the “Arab war effort.” This has caused deep embarrassment to many of the employes who are afraid to refuse for obvious reasons but don’t feel like contributing a month’s salary to a cause which is not theirs. British employes of various Arab companies all over the world have also been forced to surrender a month’s salary.
