The City Commission on Human Rights has obtained the agreement of the All American Employment Agency here not to engage in employment discrimination against Orthodox Jews and other Sabbath observers. Mrs. Eleanor Holmes Norton, Commission Chairman, announced that the agency has agreed to pay $52 in damages for job time lost by Douglas L. Greener of Manhattan, who had charged he had been rejected for two editorial positions because as an Orthodox Jew he would have to leave work early Friday evening. The agency will also provide the Commission with three months’ worth of employment applications processed by it.
