A demonstration by Endek anti-Semitic youths which began to develop on the streets of the village of Brzeschkujanski, was swiftly dealt with when four of the demonstrators were arrested. The youths paraded the streets calling for anti-Jewish boycott and eulogizing the memories of the Polish-Christian students, Waclawski and Grotkowski. The former, it may be recalled, was killed last November during the anti-Jewish excesses in Vilna, while the latter’s death in a drunken brawl immediately preceded the recent anti-Jewish outbreak.
