Youthful Endeks, members of the National Democrats, anti-Semitic anti-government party, carried on their anti-Jewish incitement with the full knowledge of party leaders, Podgorski, Endek youth leader, had testified today at the trial of nineteen Endeks charged with inciting against the Jews.
The entire group also is charged with having insulted Marshal Jozel Pilsudski, Polish dictator, last Summer.
Another witness, the police official Brylak, declared that the Lodz courts had sentenced more than 200 young Endeks for having participated in anti-Jewish excesses.
Lodz is an Endek stronghold and but for the defection of a small allied group, the Endeks would have controlled the municipal administration.
