A small proportion of Polish university students are creating anarchy in university life, it was declared by Education Minister Swietoslawski yesterday during a budget commission discussion in Parliament. Pointing out that the improved position attained by the universities last year had again deteriorated, the Minister expressed the belief that a sobering process would soon set in and that with it would come a general condemnation of anti-Jewish excesses. Meanwhile, he said, all steps to combat “anarchy and irresponsibility” in the universities would be taken by the authorities.
