Following the end of the budget debate in the Polish Sejm, the Endeks, the National Democratic anti-Semitic, anti-government, political group transferred their anti-Jewish in-citements to the floor of the Senate. Today, Professor Glombinski, a former cabinet member, in a virulen speech in the Senate rehashed all the customary Endek accusations against the Jews. He addressed himself particularly to the peasants in the hope of inciting them against the Jews by demanding that the government take steps against the “Jewish usurers.”

Endek attacks on the Jews as a means of expressing their resentment against the new constitution promulgated by the present Polish government have been frequent in the last few moths. Jews on the streets have been beaten, Jewish shop windows smashed and incitement against the Jews carried on in many Polish cities.
