Three Jews were in the hospital today and a dozen Jews and Poles in Jail as the result of an attempt by nationalist Endek students last night to raid a meeting of Polish, Jewish and Ukranian labor elements called to protest segregation of Jews in Lwow University.
The students were routed by persons attending the meeting. They then proceeded to avenge their defeat by assaulting Jewish passers-by, wounding several, three of them severely. Police called to quell the disturbance made a dozen arrests.
An order of the university rector last week forced Jewish students to occupy back benches in classrooms. The Jews walked out in protest.
