Government offices which have always had security guards, will soon be staffed with energy watchers to make sure there is no wastage of light or heat. Following a detailed energy conservation check list that has been distributed to all government offices, the watchers will make sure that, among other things, lights are turned off in all offices, even if the occupants are absent for only a short time. Heating stoves and radiators will be turned on only if the temperature falls below 60 degrees F.
