The Austrian Czecho-Slovakian Aguda has announced the enforcement of a head tax on all members of sixteen and one-half cents a month, prevailing exchange, for the Keren Hayishub. The Gerer Rabbi, who has already arrived in Vienna, where he is being joined by Austrian industrialists who will accompany him on his journey to Palestine, will be given the fund raised by means of the head tax, to be used for Palestinian reconstruction and for cultural purposes.
