The preliminary results of the Congress elections in Great Britain indicate that the General Zionists have obtained six seats out of the total of ten seats allotted to Great Britain for the forthcoming Zionist Congress, the J.T.A. learns from a member of the Election Board. The Mizrachi will probably secure two seats, and the Revisionists and the Mizrachi one seat each.

In the London area the General Zionists polled 1,111 votes, the Revisionists 500, the Poale Zion 304, and the Mizrachi 291, while in the provinces, as far as the results are already known, the General Zionists polled 476 votes, the Mizrachi 347, the Poale Zion 75, and the Revisionists 69. The returns from some of the important centres in the Provinces, like Leeds, have not yet been received.
