English High Official Opens First Telephone Exchange at Nathania

Conversing over the first telephone exchange here in the newly-erected Post-Office, acting Postmaster General William Foster spoke to High Commissioner Wauchope from this colony, named after the late Nathan Straus of New York City and built by the Bnai Benyamin (Young Farmers’) Association of Palestine. In his telephone message General Wauchope paid tribute to the enterprise of the young colonizers. The post-office and telephone exchange will serve the entire district.
