A plan to settle 530 Jewish children from Germany in Palestine and secure the temporary adoption of German Jewish children in England, was announced today by a women’s committee headed by Lady Erleigh, Mrs. Rebecca Sieff and Mrs. Yvonne Rothschild.

The appeal issued by the women’s committee declared that a fund of twenty-five thousand pounds will be raised to carry out the work and pointed out that the only practical solution left was to remove as many German children as possible from the present tragic atmosphere of Germany.
