Civil claims for damages on behalf of the next of kin living in the United States, based on the death of each of seven Ameican citizens in the late Palestine outrages, have been filed with Commissioner of Lands in Palestine according to information obtained by Congressman Emanuel Celler at another conference with Secretary of State Stimson. The seven for whom claims have been filed are Aaron David Epstein, Jacob Wexler, William Berman, David Shainberg, Benjamin Hurwitz, William Greenberg and Hyman Karassner.
In connection with the filing of claims for civil damages. Congressman Celler pointed out the last date to do so is November 23 and that consideration of these claims will not start until after that date. Claimants for damages will need an attorney in Palestine to represent them in the hearings to be held before the British Commissioner of Lands.
