Intervention by the Swiss Embassy in Berlin in behalf of Swiss Jews living in the Reich was revealed today in the report of the Swiss Foreign Office for 1933.
The report discloses that the embassy notified the German government that arrangements existing between the two countries must be applied to all Swiss citizens irrespective of racial origin.
It explains that this step was necessary because the Nazi “Aryan” legislation had affected Swiss citizens of Jewish origin.
