Ernest Frischer, former chairman of the Jewish community in Prague, Zionist leader, and for years active in Czechoslovakian politics, died here today at the age of 77.
Mr. Frischer was chairman of the Jewish Party of Czechoslovakia from 1936 to 1939. During the war, from 1942 to 1945, when he lived here, he was a member of the Czechoslovak State Council, the country’s government-in-exile He returned to Prague at the end of the war, but came here again in 1946 when the Communists took control of his country.
