The British Broadcasting Corporation has acquired the services of Ernst Schoen, former director of programs of the Frankfort-on-Main radio station, who has emigrated from Germany on account of the Hitler persecutions.
Herr Schoen left the Frankfort station where he had been employed for nine years, following an anonymous letter received by the station authorities that he had been giving preference to Jewish performers.
