A fund to encourage Cleveland Jewish youth to study Jewish problems is being raised by the Zionist District of Cleveland. It was determined to hold an essay and oratorical contest in the immediate future, with money prizes for the winners.

The committee in charge of the contest is made up of: Suggs Garber, Charles Auerbach and Myron S. Stanford, secretary.

According to the rules for the essay contest laid down by the committee, any member of the Youth League is privileged to enter. The subjects of the essays must be exclusively Jewish and preferably Zionist in nature.

For the oratorical contest the committee determined that each club of the Youth League may enter only one contestant. The orators must confine themselves to Jewish or Zionist subjects. The names of the judges for the two contests will be announced later.
