MADAME ESTHER DEBOER VAN RYK, ONE OF THE OUTSTANDING FIGURES ON THE DUTCH STAGE AND KNOWN AS THE OLDEST ACTIVE ACTRESS IN THE COUNTRY, DIED HERE LAST NIGHT AT THE AGE OF 84. SHE WAS A KNIGHT OF ORANGE NASSAU AND A MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF THE CROWN OF BELGIUM.
