Estonia’s army chief announced that he would not attend an upcoming reunion of his country’s World War II veterans. A spokesman said the decision was influenced by the international outcry that occurred after a similar event was held in Latvia in March. Estonia’s foreign minister and prime minister have already announced that they would not attend the gathering, which is scheduled for July.
